Our adventure follows in the footsteps of immensely successful treks in Ecuador, the Purcell Mountains, the Sahara Desert, Iceland, and Machu Picchu. Participants in these treks have raised over $4.6 million for their local women’s shelters and intimate partner violence prevention.
This spectacular 5 day trek towards the picturesque temples of Angkor Wat won’t be easy. Days will be long, hot, and humid and jet lag will be intense. Participants will be going without the comforts of home, sleeping in small tents, using rustic bathroom facilities and unplugging completely from cell service and technology. To be eligible to take part, each participant must pay their own trek and travel expenses and raise at least $6,000 for the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation.
Facing this challenge with big hearts and bold steps, each trekker will draw strength knowing that every dollar they raise and every kilometer they walk will help make it easier for women and children to find the safety, hope and healing that they deserve.
